Terms of use

The practical conditions for using DistriScope’s free educational statistics workspace.

Educational service

DistriScope provides interactive statistical calculations, visualizations, and explanatory material for education and exploratory analysis. The service is provided without a guarantee that every tool, result, or explanation is complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular decision.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for selecting an appropriate method, checking assumptions, interpreting results in context, and retaining the data needed to reproduce your work. Do not use a DistriScope output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety, employment, or public-policy decisions. High-impact work requires independent calculation and qualified review.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, misuse third-party integrations, or submit content that you do not have the right to process. Avoid entering confidential or personally identifiable information. Automated use must respect published crawling controls and the capacity of the hosting service.

Third-party and open-source software

The application depends on open-source libraries and may connect to services such as Vercel, GitHub, and Puter. Those projects and services have separate licenses and terms. Links do not imply that DistriScope controls or endorses every statement on an external site. The source repository provides the applicable project license and dependency details.

Changes and issue reports

Features and content may change as methods are corrected or expanded. Material changes should be reflected in these pages and their review dates. Report a reproducible problem through the GitHub issue tracker. Continued use after a published update means you are using the current version of the service. Last reviewed 2026-07-30.
